Account deletion
Schedule account deletion directly in Settings. A seven-day grace period starts before the account is actually deleted.
Delete from the app
- Sign in to TimeHatch and open Settings.
- Open ‘Trash / Reset / Delete’, then choose account deletion.
- Select or enter a reason and verify your identity with your current account.
- Review what will be deleted and the exact scheduled date and time, then confirm.
After scheduling
Regular app access stops and a dedicated deletion screen appears. Before the scheduled time, sign in again and choose ‘Cancel deletion / Reactivate account’ to return to your existing account.
What is deleted?
Account authentication information, cloud records, goals, animal collection, shared settings, and internal record recovery history are removed. A server task processes deletion after the scheduled time; an outage may delay processing. Offline device copies are removed when those devices next connect to the server. Previously exported personal files remain under your control.
After deletion, you can sign up again with the same Google account, Apple account, or email. Your old records will not be connected to the new account.
For Sign in with Apple, we encrypt and retain an authorization token while the account exists. When the account is permanently deleted after the seven-day grace period, we request revocation of Apple authorization. Only the encrypted information needed for revocation is retained separately until that request succeeds, with retries during Apple service outages. If a previous sign-in did not provide the required token, the app explains how to stop using Sign in with Apple in your Apple account settings. Revocation failure does not prevent account data deletion.
